GENERAL CONDITIONS OF USE OF THE WEB SITE Boán Lamas.
PURPOSE
These General Conditions regulate the use (including mere access) of the web pages comprising the website of Boán & Lamas (“Boan Lamas”), including the contents and services made available on them (the “Boan Lamas Site”). Any person accessing the Boan Lamas Site (“User”) agrees to be bound by the General Terms and Conditions in force at the time of accessing the Boan Lamas Site. These conditions are accessible on each page and each time a User enters his/her data in the existing forms, so that he/she can read, print, file and accept them via the Internet, and the User cannot effectively enter his/her data without this acceptance having taken place.
The contents and services that Boan & Lamas makes available to the User on the Boan Lamas Site (respectively, the “Contents” and the “Services”) may also be regulated by special conditions which, in case of conflict, shall prevail over the General Conditions (the “Special Conditions”). Each time the User uses the corresponding Content or Service, the User is also subject to the corresponding applicable Special Conditions.
Consequently, the User must carefully read the General Conditions each time he intends to use the Boan Lamas Site and, where appropriate, the corresponding Special Conditions each time he intends to use the Content or Service in question.
In any case, Boan & Lamas reserves the right to modify, at any time and without prior notice, the presentation and configuration of the Boan & Lamas Site, as well as these General Conditions or the corresponding Special Conditions.
USE OF THE Boan Lamas SITE
The Boan Lamas website is for information purposes only and does not constitute a source of advice or a means of establishing a professional or any other type of relationship between client and employer.
Conditions of access and use of this website are strictly governed by current legislation and the principle of good faith, and the User undertakes to make good use of the website.
Unless otherwise provided in the Particular Conditions, the use of the Boan Lamas Site shall be free of charge, without prejudice to the cost of connection through the corresponding telecommunications network that access has for the User.
The User is aware and voluntarily and expressly accepts that the use of the Boan Lamas Site is in any case under his sole and exclusive responsibility.
In using the Boan Lamas Site, the User agrees not to carry out any conduct that could damage the image, interests and rights of Boan & Lamas or third parties or that could damage, disable or overload the Boan Lamas Site, or prevent, in any way, the normal use of the Boan Lamas Site.

Expressly Boan & Lamas… prohibits the following:
– Carry out actions that may cause any kind of damage to the systems of Boan & Lamas or third parties on the website or through it by any means.
– Carrying out without due authorisation any type of advertising or commercial information either directly or in disguise, sending mass mailings (“spamming”) or sending large messages with the aim of blocking network servers (“mail bombing”)
– Boan & Lamas may at any time interrupt access to its website if it detects a use contrary to the law, good faith or these general conditions.
Boan & Lamas adopts reasonably adequate security measures to detect the existence of viruses. However, the User must be aware that the security measures of computer systems on the Internet are not entirely reliable and that, therefore, Boan & Lamas cannot guarantee the absence of viruses or other elements that may cause alterations in the User’s computer systems (software and hardware) or in their electronic documents and files contained therein.
The Contents of the Boan & Lamas Site are made available to the User by Boan & Lamas with information from both own and third party sources.
Boan & Lamas endeavours to ensure that the Contents are of the highest possible quality and are reasonably up to date, but does not guarantee the usefulness, accuracy, completeness, relevance and/or timeliness of the Contents.
The inclusion of Content on the Boan Lamas Site does not in any way constitute the provision of legal advice. The User acknowledges that, insofar as the application of the law to specific cases is not automatic but may vary depending on a wide range of circumstances, the information contained in the Content is insufficient for any decision to be taken. These General Conditions do not grant any intellectual or industrial property rights over the Boan Lamas site or any of its constituent elements, and the User is expressly forbidden to reproduce, transform, distribute, publicly communicate, make available, extract, reuse, resend or use of any nature, by any means or procedure, any of them, except in cases where it is legally permitted or expressly authorised by the owner of the corresponding rights.
The User may view and obtain a temporary private copy of the Contents for their exclusive personal and private use on their computer systems (software and hardware), provided that this is not intended for the performance of activities of a commercial or professional nature. In any case, Boan & Lamas reserves the right to prohibit or disable at any time any hyperlink to the Marina Boan Site, especially in cases of unlawful activity or content of the website in which the hyperlink is included.
The Boan Lamas Site makes available to the User, solely for the search for, and access to, information, content and services available on the Internet, hyperlinks or technical linking devices (e.g. links or buttons), which allow the User to access Internet sites or portals belonging to or managed by third parties (the “Linked Sites”).
Boan & Lamas Lda does not offer or market by itself or through third parties the information, contents and services available in the Linked Sites, nor does it approve, supervise or control in any way the contents and services and any material of any nature existing in the same, the User assuming exclusive responsibility for navigation through the same.
PERSONAL DATA
The mere fact of visiting the Boan Lamas Site does not automatically record any personal data that identifies a User. However, there is certain information of a non-personal nature and not identifiable with a specific User that is collected and recorded on the Internet servers of Boan & Lamas Lda (for example, type of Internet browser of the User, the User’s operating system, IP address from which the web pages of the Boan Lamas Site are accessed) in order to improve the User’s navigation and the management of the Boan Lamas Site.
However, for the use of certain Content or Services, Boan & Lamas Lda may require certain personal data from the User. Boan & Lamas Lda will provide the User with the necessary information so that he/she can give his/her prior consent for Boan & Lamas Lda to process his/her personal data and incorporate them into the corresponding files owned by Boan & Lamas Lda.
APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
These General Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. The Courts of Lisbon shall have jurisdiction to resolve any controversy or dispute arising from these general conditions, and the User expressly waives any other jurisdiction that may correspond to him/her.
Should any clause of this document be declared invalid, the remaining clauses will remain in force and will be interpreted taking into account the will of the parties and the purpose of the present conditions. Boan & Lamas Lda may not exercise any of the rights and powers conferred in this document, which in no case implies the waiver of the said rights and powers unless expressly recognised by Boan & Lamas Lda.
